Regional, nachhaltig und lecker: Das Mittagessen kommt bei MAXIMAGO künftig in Weckgläsern und damit ohne Müll aus.

The interface design specialist MAXIMAGO have launched a sustainability campaign. With numerous small and large activities the team wants to enable a more environmentally friendly cooperation. As of July 1, the responsible "Services" team has taken the next big step: From now on, almost 50 employees can order their lunch in returnable mason jars.

The team "Services" takes care of the smooth internal processes. Within the team, a project group "Sustainbility" has been formed. Until now lunch has been delivered exclusively in disposable aluminum bowls. From now on colleagues can also order their food in 500 ml mason jars. The delivery partner is "Potpouri", a catering service from Dortmund, who completely dispenses with disposable tableware "Potpouri" offers a rich selection of vegetarian, vegan and meat-based dishes.

Colleagues asked for a new catering service

Sustainability is very important for the staff, says Julia Greitens, Head of Services at MAXIMAGO. The monthly internal satisfaction survey and the anonymous reviews on the employer review portal Kununu have shown that the software company has a lot of catching up to do when it comes to environmental awareness. As a medium-sized company creativity is in demand in the catering: MAXIMAGO is meanwhile too big for self-cooking, so a supplier had to be found who can take care to the demands of the team.
